CHAT ROOMS
NO OFFENSIVE OR ABUSIVE WORDS
Due to there being a variety of ages within the competition i don't particularly like to put a rule on language used within the chat rooms, however i would ask that everyone be polite and not be abusive with their words. Anyone seen using words in an offensive or abusive manner will be warned and then eliminated if continued
NO BULLYING
Anyone seen bullying another contestant will be warned immediately and eliminated if continued. If you see anyone bullying another contestant please screenshot the messages and send to > jamiieleiigh < "JLH" immediately so the issue can be dealt with in a quick and calm manner.
NO NEGATIVITY OR COMPLAINING
I try to keep things light and happy within the competition as much as possible. Some contestants get upset or angry with their scores and feedback. Please PM > jamiieleiigh < "JLH" if you have any questions. Please do not complain within the chat or you will be given a warning.
NO INVITES
Please do NOT invite other people to the chat room. Any contestants seen inviting people to the chat room will be eliminated immediately.
ENGLISH
Please talk in English when in the chat rooms. If you have trouble understanding something please contact a team member and they will help you.
NO NOTES
Please do NOT post notes within the chat room. Only Team Members can post notes.
CONFRONTATION TO TEAM MEMBERS
Anyone who confronts and talks to a Team Member in an abusive or negative way, will be warned and eliminated if continued.
NO PERSONAL OC's
Everybody is welcome to share their performances within the competition. But please do not post your personal OC's or performances in the Main Chat Room. You are welcome to share your personal OC's in the NERDOUT CHAT ROOM.
LEAVING THE CHAT ROOM
I know there can be problems with people's connections and Line at times causing people to leave the chat room without wanting to. If you leave the chat room by accident i ask that you please PM > jamiieleiigh < "JLH", so i can add you back to the competition. If i do not hear from you within 24 hours i will assume you have left the competition and you will be removed from my records.
NO COMPETITION SHARES
Please do not post about other competitions in the Main Room. You are welcome to share other competitions in the NERDOUT CHAT ROOM
NO PESTERING
Please do not keep asking Team Members when scores will be posted. Scores should be posted on Tuesday. I try my best to keep on top of all the entries but remember there are a lot of you and a lot of entries to listen and give feedback to. Please refrain from asking when your scores will be posted.
NO POINTS
LATE ENTRIES
All assignments will have a 8 day deadline. Any performances handed in late will have 10 points taken off for every hour it's late.​
WRONG COVER ART
Each assignment will have its own cover art for you to use on your performance. Any performances with the wrong cover art will lose 10 points.​
WRONG HASHTAGS
Each assignment will have a unique hashtag to be posted in the description box of your performance. Any performances with the wrong hashtags, a hashtag missing, or a wrong letter/number - will lose 10 points.​
NOT PUBLIC OR CLOSED
All performances must be PUBLIC for me to see and CLOSED so no-one else can join.​
NO VIDEOS
At no point within the competition will contestants be expected to create video performances.
ELIMINATION
INVITES & REMOVALS
ONLY "JLH" can invite and remove contestants to the chat room. Any contestants seen inviting or removing anyone from the chat rooms will be eliminated immediately.
LOW SCORE (NOT IN THIS COMP)
At the end of each round a number of contestants may be eliminated. This will include those with no entries for a consecutive 3 rounds.
THE COMPETITION
SMULE NAME CHANGE
I don't expect anyone to keep their Smule Name the same throughout the entire competition. I only ask that you keep me updated on your most recent Smule name by messaging me.
NON VIP MEMBERS
If you are a non-vip member of Smule then do not worry! Just PM "JLH" or a Team Member and we will open the song for you.
COUNTDOWN TIMER
A countdown timer can be found on the website in the top right corner... this will countdown each round.
